S.E. London Child and Family Therapist is Ready to Help You

At The Feelings Teacher we understand how challenging it can be for both parents and children when a child is struggling socially, emotionally or behaviourally. Often parents feel overwhelmed, confused and powerless.

Ines Gomes founder of The Feelings Teacher provides a holistic, personal approach which includes both support and training for parents, and tailored therapeutic sessions for the  child.

Ines also works with schools to provide staff training as well as individual and group work for children.

Meet The Feelings Teacher

Ines Gomes

Ines is a warm, genuine, down to earth person. She feels passionately about her work with young people and feels privileged to work in her field. Ines has over 12 years experience working with children. Most of Ines’s clients come to her by personal recommendations with a range of problems from emotional to behavioural problems.

“Ines made me and my child feel welcome. She allowed us to express our feelings in a very safe way. Ines wasn’t judgemental and listened to what had to be said and guided us forwards. Ines is very approachable which helped my child a lot.”

“Ines is amazing! She had built an incredible bond with my son, who trusts her implicitly. As a result, his ability to concentrate and try/learn new things has dramatically changed, as he knows she will always gauge/respect when he has had enough. Also, as a lot of her learning is play based, he gets so much enjoyment from it. The speed of his development has been incredible.”

“We believe that all happy, secure and emotionally regulated children have the potential to achieve great things, our aim is to teach those skills to enable that success.”  Ines Gomes
