Meet Dr Iona Bramati – IBCcare

Dr. Bramati, is an Osteopath and Naturopath who uses cranial, structural, and visceral osteopathic techniques to promote holistic health. These low-invasive methods are suitable for all ages. She is also trained in Functional Medicine by the Institute of Functional Medicine enhancing her approach to chronic diseases.
After graduating from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in London, Dr. Bramati completed post-graduate courses in cranial and structural osteopathy. She has worked at the Osteopathic Centre for Children (OCC) and at St John and St Elizabeth’s Birth Unit, treating newborns and mothers post-labor.
Dr. Bramati earned her PhD for her research on the effectiveness of visceral osteopathic treatment on gastrointestinal indicators and behavior patterns in autistic children, a study endorsed by the National Autistic Society and sponsored by a British Naturopathic and Osteopathic Association grant. Her PhD was awarded by the University of Westminster in collaboration with King’s College Hospital. She was recognized for her outstanding research with the Elsevier/International Conference on the Advancement of Osteopathic Research – New Researcher Prize.
